Sandra and Michael, like most young couples starting out had big ideas for their wedding day and it was all going to plan until March 2020.  With the wedding not due to take place until July 2020 there wasn’t much call for concern straight away but as the weeks rolled on it became apparent that even by then there wasn’t going to be much change in circumstances.  With Sandra’s sister living in the UEA coming home was not an option for her so the wedding was moved to December but with restrictions changing nearly on a daily basis guest and travel restrictions eased for a while during the summer and thus July was back on the cards.  With overseas guests spending 14 days in isolation and the guest list dramatically reduced the show went on and although no music could attend the couple found a novel way of having an open air first dance courtesy of a fiddle player during a walk around Bunratty Folk Park before heading to the Bunratty Castle Hotel with a very special dinner with their families.
Here’s some of Sandra and Michael’s amazing micro wedding!!!
